which actor has the highest net worth in the world?

Posted by admin on June 24th, 2010 and filed under high net worth | 6 Comments »

Shah ruck khan has a net fortune of $400Million does anyone have more then this?
far as i know segal the pony is not worth much and Oprah is a talk show host.
    segal net value $279 million

    http://www.webtrafficagents.com/WebSiteValue/www.steven-seagal.net

tom cruise is only worth $250 million

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22477865/

Harrison Ford the Jewish one, his net worth is about $300, but more then likely much less now as he doesn’t earn much now.

As you have now probably found, it’s a lot easier to find how much an actor makes per year versus their net worth. As far as I know, there is no single definitive list showing actors net worth. All I can say is that since none of them rate on Forbes richest, none are worth more than 1b USD (we are talking actors here – not directors, talk show hosts etc. which do reach into that arena).

Here is the info I’ve found through a bit of Googling. Note, there are some wildly inaccurate readings so we have to look at best judgement.

Shah ruck khan: Approx. 320m +
Tom Hanks: no figure listest. Nearest Approx. 400m +
    Leonardo dicaprio: Approx 385m +
    Harrison Ford: 300m
    Steven Seagal: Approx. 255m – 280m
    Tom Cruise: Approx. 250m – 280m
    Will Smith: Approx: 180m +

    But best I like:
Arnold Schwarzenegger. Conservative estimates around 200m, but due to shrewd investments possibly up to and over 800m.
Proving he’s not just all muscle.

does low net worth to asset ratio indicate high or low financial risk?

Posted by admin on June 18th, 2010 and filed under high net worth | 4 Comments »

Net worth to asset is not a commonly used ratio. The more common ratios are debt to asset or net worth to asset.

A low not worth to asset ratio indicates a high debt to asset ratio which indicates a high financial risk. Who do you think is more likely to have financial problems.
    person A 100K net worth(150 K in assets and 50K in debt)
person B 100K net worth 500K in assets 400K in debt

The Net Worth ration for the person A is 0.666
for person B it is 0.20

I think most people would feel more comfortable lending to person A.

Do investment consultant treat high net worth client better than average joes?

Posted by admin on June 7th, 2010 and filed under high net worth | 2 Comments »

do they usually spend more time talking to high net worth clients than average investors?

There is a misconception that high net worth investors get more attention than low net worth investors, because of their net worth status.

The truth is that those with higher capital to invest say $1 million+ need more sophisticated plans than those with say $1,000 with 20+ years to retirement.

Yes, the broker or rep will often make more money because the capital is greater.

I could come up with a plan to invest $1,000 in 5 minuets or less. To come up with a plan to invest $1 million will take days or weeks. Thus one is spending a lot more time to do more work. They are thus compensated for this extra work.

Yes, people in the business often prefer to work with more sophisticated clients with greater capital. However when I was a retail broker I took everyone who was willing, committed, serious about investing, would follow my advice and available to execute the plan.

As a retail broker back in the day, I tried to help everyone equally who wanted help, and I took people in whom I knew no one else would give them the time of day. Many of those times was a time loss for me, and I made no money. It was not all about making money all the time. Sometimes you just try and help good people.
