I live in the Bahamas south bimini. I am just wondering.
When I googled this all that keeps coming up is that The Bahamas is the richest Caribbean island. I do not see anything showing me which island in The Bahamas is the richest though!

I was just wondering what are the wealthiest towns/villages in Weschester County, New York?
Well, that depends on your lifestyle.
If you’re preppy and rich, think Rye, Bronxville and Larchmont. You’ll find the old-school clubs (Larchmont Yacht, Westchester Country Club) and preppier atmospheres in these towns. Replete with pastel polos, sailboats and topsiders, these towns are among the wealthiest (if not necessarily flashiest) of the county.
If you’re famously rich, mostly Scarsdale and, to a lesser extent, Chappaqua (where the Clintons resided). These towns are a bit more status-obsessed than their preppy counterparts. Their school systems are among the highest-performing in the nation and they tend to attract many Jewish and Asian families that put a premium on their children’s educations. Think of designer clothes behind the wheel of a Mercedes sports car as opposed to a vineyard vines polo behind the wheel of a jeep or Volvo.
Hollywood rich, much of the northern tier of the county, which is more rustic, appealing to celebrities seeking privacy. Bedford, North Salem, Pound Ridge and others boast several celebrity residents.
Other places to consider, Harrison, Pelham and parts of New Rochelle.
I hope this information is very helpful.
Good luck

I often hear that 1 percent of the world’s population owns most of the world’s wealth? Where are the facts to support this? Who are they and how did they get so much wealth?
"The richest 1% of adults in the world own 40% of the planet’s wealth, according to the largest study yet of wealth distribution. The report also finds that those in financial services and the internet sectors predominate among the super rich.
Europe, the US and some Asia Pacific nations account for most of the extremely wealthy. More than a third live in the US. Japan accounts for 27% of the total, the UK for 6% and France for 5%."

Did anything trickle down to anyone? That is what the Republicans said would happen.Where did it trickle to.
it trickled into the wallets of the wealthy people.
Proud to be American? do some research to find out why this country is so rich…and why people from other countries are poor, at least those poor countries didn’t kill millions of people like the US to maintain it’s wealth.

I need help understanding how business and inventions during the techincal revolution(around 1840s-1900s) helped america become the wealthiest.
it was because America had the most land and resources.
David Cay Johnston – explains what the invisible hand of Adam Smith means, for the benefit of those who know it and for those who only think they do–of which there are more than enough of the latter. Smith postulated that a free market economy creates competition that serves the common good but, (and here’s the kicker), does not work if government provides them bounty (subsidies), or allows them to collude to keep prices high. He also stated that there would be enterprises that would operate to seek bounties only, the equivalent of modern corporate welfare.
Less than 1% of Americans are getting rich of the backs of the other 99%. And, it isn’t just individuals who are reaping millions of dollars from taxpayers…it’s also corporations.
Government at all levels offers break after break which is consistently picked up by Average Joe Taxpayer. Such “bounties” include:
· Misuse of eminent domain, which is supposed to mean appropriating land for the common good such as a new highway or airport. Now it is used to support developers who wish to profit at the expense of the homeowner.
· Tax breaks. Not only do companies such as Wal-Mart, Cabela, or Bass Pro insist on property tax breaks that decimate the local economy rather than improve it, but they might even insist on keeping the sales tax. Communities may not see a return on their investment for decades.
One of the largest baseball teams in the country destroyed a public park for a new stadium, had it paid for by the citizens, and then gave payback to politicians who helped.
Two major hunting and fishing chains that got millions and millions in tax subsidies to build stores based on false and unsustainable promises, and continue to try to rape the treasuries of communities across the country with more false promises.
A call center in Buffalo using tax subsidies and sold it to the public through a newspaper owned by the same company.
Discover how industry and government have actually worked to first deceive, then gouge the average hard-working taxpayer. Any one of these chapters is a revelation that made me open this book at every opportunity.

And the taxes on cigarettes, alcohol and gasoline and all the increased payroll taxes increasing social security tax for EVERYONE. No one is getting a tax cut. When he lets Bush tax cuts expire, everyones taxes will be going up.
How does that help?
it helps by destroying the economy so socialism can take over.
